Resume Resources
For those of you who couldn’t make the resume workshop held last Thursday, here are some helpful resources that may be beneficial for jumpstarting or modifying your resume.
Here is a copy of the Bill Jones powerpoint: Resumes That Work. Read through the powerpoint to get an idea of what employers are looking for, and how to present yourself through a resume.
A compilation of resources from David Curley: Click Here. This contains helpful links and tips in regards to creating a new resume or modifying your current resume.
The job fair will be on Thursday, October 6 from 11AM to 3PM. This event will be held in the Wink Arena. Make sure that you have a resume in hand, and also business cards if you have them.
Remember, people hire people. Make your resume look professional, and detail your experiences. The goal of a resume is to get an interview.
