Hello everyone! I hope your summer is going well. We have many people all around the country who have gotten internships and jobs and I wish them the best and I hope they stay in contact with us!
So what have we been doing this summer? We are finalizing the plans for out annual fall trip! Follow the link below for more information!
Please feel free to talk to us if you have any concerns regarding the GAA or if you have any ideas that you wish to share!
Please attend the meeting next Tuesday so we can vote on a final T-Shirt design. If anyone decides to make changes to the shirts themselves, please bring a digital copy of the design so we can show it to all the members.
All Graphic Arts Association members will be required to attend the meeting next Tuesday. We have several important topics to discuss including T-Shirt design, future activities, and attendance.
Last week we discussed several topics ranging from T-Shirts to the Spring Trip and much more! During the next meeting I will discuss our plan of action in more detail. We look forward to a great semester for the GAA.
We are currently working on setting up a tour to French Paper Company. French Paper Company has been manufacturing paper for more than 140 years in the same community of Niles, Michigan. In an industry known for corporate acquisitions and shutdowns, French Paper has persevered, emerging as one of the strongest, smartest, and most consistent paper brands around. Check out there website linked above!
We are currently working on getting a Raffle License for the GAA but to do this we need to add a provision in the constitution describing where all our assets will go if the organization should disband. This will need to be voted on by the general assembly so please attend the next meeting and have your voice heard. As soon as we get this passed we can continue our efforts to raise funds for the organization.
Well it’s that time again! Career Fair week is this week (Feb 4th – Feb 8th) and now is the perfect opportunity to meet some of the biggest printing companies in the industry.
