Résumé Workshop Thursday Feb. 24

Just want to remind everyone that there is a workshop for resumes tomorrow.  This is an excellent opportunity to make your resume shine.

It will start at 7PM and end no later than 9PM in SWAN 218.

Everybody in the printing program is welcome to attend.

If this goes well, we will set up an interview workshop before the job fair, which will be March 25th.

Business Cards are in!

They will be available for pickup tomorrow from 8-12 AM and again from 4:30-5:00 PM. You can also get them Tuesday at the meeting, or until 3:15. If you won’t be able to be in during any of those times please let me know and I will make sure your cards get to you.

 

Photoshop Seminar

The Action Committee is checking for interest in doing a Photoshop Seminar where members can share their knowledge in this vast and awesome program. The seminar would cover many areas of photo correction and manipulation ranging from the basics to some more in depth and artistic actions.

Vertis Tour Cancelled

We recently received information after the General Meeting today that the Vertis Communications Tour has been cancelled due to their managers being ill and previous commitments. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, we will attempt to reschedule for the 24th or 31st of March 2010.

Welcome Back! GAA Meeting Tomorrow

Hope you had a great winter break.

There will be a GAA General Meeting tomorrow at 11AM in SWAN 218.  We will be going over who we are and what our plans are for the future as an organization.  If you know anybody that is interested in being in the GAA, please tell them about this meeting.

I look forward to seeing the returning members, as well as (fingers crossed) new members.
