Thanks to everyone that entered. The Graphic Arts Association raised $11. If you want to see the action take place, then show up to Oakwood A105 (19700 14 Mile Rd) Friday, December 9 at 7PM. I will update the post with pictures come Friday.

Feb. 1 at 6:30pm  GAA will be hosting a movie night, We will be watching Hall Pass,(Rick and Fred, two husbands who are having difficulty in their marriages, are given a Hall Pass by their wives: for one week, they can do whatever they want.) Travel

Quad Midland Trip

The trip to Quad Midland is taking place on November 2 from 8:15am – 3pm.  Please bring a couple of dollars for the drivers. We will be getting lunch in Midland.

Dress business casual. You are representing the printing program and GAA, so please look sharp.

If you are on the list, there is an excusal form located on the light table to the right of the GAA office.

 
 

Fundraising

Bottle Drive

There will be a bottle drive on Saturday February 12th from 10am to 3pm. We will be meeting in the SWAN parking lot at 9:30am.

If you want to hand out flyers, we will be meeting behind the SWAN building at 4pm on Wednesday February 2nd to drive around and put flyers people’s doors.

A sign-up sheet will be passed around during the meeting, and will also be on the GAA door until Wednesday February 9th. If you want to help pick up bottles or hand out flyers please sign up.

ALL MONEY RAISED WILL HELP LOWER THE COST OF THE SPRING TRIP!

Web Workshop/Seminar

Coming up on the Tue. – Wed. after Spring Break I’ll be hosting a Web workshop/seminar. The purpose of this event is to help students understand more about how certain services on the Web work, and to go over the kinds of things you’ll encounter in the work force. We will be in SWAN 218/220 both nights from 6:30 until we run out of things to discuss. Below is a list of topics that are likely to be covered.
